July 1, 2025 – Special Runoff Election, First Supervisorial District
A special runoff election will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 to fill the vacant seat in the County’s First Supervisorial District for the remainder of the current term ending in January 2029.
Only voters residing in the First Supervisorial District are eligible to participate in the election, and will receive their ballot in the mail the week of June 2. The San Diego County Democratic Democratic Party has endorsed Paloma Aguirrefor Board of Supervisors District 1.

If you're interested in volunteering for Paloma Aguirre for Supervisor, Team Paloma is hosting weekday phonebanks and weekend canvasses through July 1 out of the SD Dems Special Election office at 629 3rd Ave, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
Phonebanking will occur every Monday-Thursday from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.Canvasses will launch on Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. and Sundays at 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
