July 1, 2025 – Special Runoff Election, First Supervisorial District 

A special runoff election will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 to fill the vacant seat in the County’s First Supervisorial District for the remainder of the current term ending in January 2029. 

Only voters residing in the First Supervisorial District are eligible to participate in the election, and will receive their ballot in the mail the week of June 2. Additional information for the Special Primary Election in County Supervisorial District 1,  including voter registration and how to find your district, can be found here. 

The San Diego County Democratic Democratic Party has endorsed Paloma Aguirre for Board of Supervisors District 1.
