Our rights, freedoms, and communities are under attack -- and we must stand together and fight back. The Trump Administration is assaulting our democracy and our people on a daily basis — dismantling Constitutional protections, appointing unqualified extremists to powerful positions, and escalating the mass deportation of immigrants who are part of the fabric of our country. People are scared. People are angry. And people are looking for ways to resist and persist.

Calendar of Upcoming Actions and Protests

Democratic-aligned protests, rallies, and similar events in San Diego County are organized on an ongoing basis -- initiated sometimes by a national effort, but often by grassroots groups taking action in their own communities. Support Paloma Aguirre for County Supervisor

Our County Board of Supervisors is now deadlocked between Republicans and Democrats. Whoever wins this year's special election for an open supervisorial seat will determine whether the nation's fifth-largest county will tilt toward MAGA or push back, on policies ranging from civil rights and immigration to climate action and healthcare. The San Diego County Democratic Party has endorsed Imperial Beach Mayor Paloma Aguirre in the April 8 election for District 1.
